Every Family Deserves a Place to Belong.

We help churches become places where autistic individuals and their families feel safe, welcomed, understood, and included in the life of the church.

Our Mission

To equip churches with affordable, practical, and evidence-informed tools that help individuals with autism and their families experience safety, belonging, and spiritual growth within the local church.

The Challenge

Many Families Want to Belong but Face Real Barriers.

For many autistic individuals and their families, participating in church can bring unexpected challenges:

  • Sensory overload from noise, lights or crowds
  • Volunteers who need additional training
  • Safety and emergency concerns
  • Limited ministry accommodations
  • Feeling misunderstood or excluded

Most churches want to help. They need practical knowledge, thoughtful systems, and resources to do so effectively.

Meet Jordan Church

Jordan Church founded Shepherds Bridge out of a deep personal calling: the conviction that every autistic child deserves a welcoming place to belong in their community and church.

Combining 18 months of hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) supporting autistic children in home and clinical settings with over 100 church services and events attended alongside these children and their families, Jordan bridges a critical gap. He knows firsthand both the profound joys and the real-world challenges families experience in faith communities.

Through Shepherds Bridge, Jordan is answering a calling to help churches move beyond merely opening their doors—equipping leaders and volunteers with practical tools so every child and family feels truly understood, supported, and valued.
